It’s fun to see Michael Keaton reprise one of his most famous roles

There are a lot of stories going on in this movie and not all of them are interesting enough to make us care. He’s back in that striped suit as if he hasn’t missed a single moment. But the film doesn’t really come alive (or become dead?) until the last third of the film.

Then it’s too late

Then the pace picks up and the laughs start flying at high speed. The original Beetlejuice was perfect. The sequence is a good example of why people say perfection is something not to be messed with.
