That’s what got him the role
Tale
A madman named Art the Clown terrorizes two friends and anyone who gets in his way on Halloween. David Howard Thornton was the sixth person to audition for Art the Clown after Mike Giannelli retired from the role and acting altogether. During the audition, he began by mimicking tasting the blood of his decapitated victim, but then added salt to enhance its flavor. In the shots where Tara is gagged with duct tape, the duct tape is clearly not making contact with her lower mouth in some earlier shots, while in other shots it is tightly wrapped around both lips. EMT Roman: How can you eat a greasy croissant while cutting up corpses?

Coroner: Honey, I’ve been doing this for twenty-two years, okay? Once you’ve seen an eight-month-old child microwaved to death, everything else is just old hat. There is a heavily edited version on YouTube with the graphic violence and gore removed, as well as the nudity. I’ll try. Written and performed by Thanks.
Honestly, not really, but it’s better than his last solo outing
Art the Clown started out in 2011 with a short film of the same name, which I honestly didn’t like. Creator Damien Leone would keep Art in his feature film All Hallows Eve (2013), but as a small role. Now we’re here and Art has his own film, but is it any good? It follows the standard slasher formula and sees a couple of girls get attacked by a psychotic clown on Halloween night. So again, this is generic stuff, it encompasses all the usual tropes and while it’s not predictable, it certainly holds no surprises.
It’s also pretty ugly throughout and oddly paced
What “Terrifier” does offer, however, is pure brutality. This is bloodthirsty, merciless stuff with no holds barred, I was actually pretty shocked. Everything looks really good considering the budget, so kudos to the SFX department. I love clowns as antagonists, but Art doesn’t seem to offer enough for me. He’s less of a clown and more of a mime, and doesn’t seem like an interesting character to carry his own film, but by next week I’ll have forgotten about it: Impressively gruesome imagery, Jenna Kanell, Unpredictable: Doesn’t exactly flow.
Check out the scariest clowns to grace the screen
Bad cinematography. Art the Clown, Pennywise, and Killer Klowns are just a few of the comical creatures that give us goosebumps.
